Start with an all-star cast featuring Gene Wilder, Madeline Kahn, Peter Boyle, Teri Garr, Cloris Leachman, Marty Feldman, and Kenneth Mars. Add a hysterically funny script co-written by Gene Wilder and Mel Brooks. Finally, the movie was masterfully directed by Mel Brooks paying homage to the classic horror films of the 1930’s.
