Event Details

In this month’s American History Seminar, retired professor John Viteritti will explore the presidency of Harry Truman, who led the nation between two historical giants—Franklin D. Roosevelt and Dwight Eisenhower. From the atomic bomb to the Cold War and America’s involvement in Korea, we’ll examine the major challenges Truman faced and how history has come to judge his leadership.

Open to the public and free of cost. Registration encouraged, but not required. Walk-ins welcome.
