Breastfeeding challenges are common for new mothers, but knowing what to expect and when to get help can overcome those hurdles. In honor of National Breastfeeding Month, Aimee Liguori, Stony Brook Southampton Hospital’s Board-Certified Lactation Consultant, will discuss how breastfeeding helps build your baby’s immune system and offers the perfect nutrition. She will also talk about common difficulties that may be encountered and the best ways to overcome them to make the entire experience a rewarding one for both baby and mom.
