Program Description
Event Details
(This is a three-week workshop: 9/19, 9/26, and 10/3.) We often find ourselves moved by a work of art, and, in some cases, the experience can be transformative. We have also read poems that have expressed this felt response to art. Join us in this workshop, and we will show you how to write a poem in response to a work of art. You don’t have to be a poet, nor a writer – just someone who enjoys art. Participants will leave with an image of their chosen work of art and their poem printed on paper and ready to be framed.
