Event Details

How does a writer mark out persons, objects, and the world for attention and praise? Henry David Thoreau and Emily Dickinson had the same disposition toward the beauty of nature: open to possibility, receptive to significant encounter, and courteous to the divine guest. Enjoy how Thoreau and Dickinson cultivated a relationship of attentiveness to the world around them in their poetry and writing.
