To celebrate the nation’s 250th anniversary, join local author Margaret M. Johnson for a three-course “Tavern Tea” with a BILL OF FARE that includes Savory & Substantial Meats & Cheese, Sweet Biscuits & Cakes, and Fruit Pudding. Author of fourteen cookbooks, including Teatime in Ireland and Delicious Ireland, Johnson weaves colonial history into an afternoon tea menu based on period foods. 
“Teas of the finest Sorts will be serv’d, being Bohea, Hyson, and Souchong, together with sundry others suitable to the TEA-TABLE.”

There is a $10 nonrefundable fee for this program
