Event Details

An appreciation of the three haiku masters of the Edo period: Basho, Buson, and Issa. Though hundreds of years old, these short poems have a force and vitality today: they describe the transient moment as it unfolds and vanishes, they enjoy the foibles of being human, and they evoke a range of life’s emotions.
