“Things I Love to Paint” — The Art of Diane Alec Smith
A native of Cutchogue, Diane Alec Smith has been a professional painter and art teacher on the North Fork for nearly 40 years. She currently teaches painting classes out of her studio in Cutchogue. Her artwork, often featuring local landscapes, seascapes and wildlife has been showcased on the cover of Dan’s Papers multiple times.
This exhibit, entitled Things I Love to Paint, captures the beauty of the quiet creeks, ponds, and shoreline of the North Fork, reflecting her love for the outdoor environment.
