This lecture will address the ‘spring planting’ myth and prove that fall is the best time to plant native plants. It will cover the benefits of native plants and then explain why fall is the optimal season for planting; focusing on root development, weather conditions, reduced maintenance, benefits for spring growth, and support for pollinators and wildlife.
